A spooky sort of scene Martin, but I bet its great when the sun shines.
A couple of issues here, not sure if it is with sharpening or something else, the reeds/grasses in the foreground left and the edge of the river bank on the right both show signs of some fringing. Just looks a little unnatural.

The filigran right side is amazing in depth! the colours again are fantastic. The single reed on the left has a halo what I find distracting. Your wide angle is so cool, good choice on tghat lens!!

@daniela scharnowski: Thanks for the nice comment, I had read a small artical on high pass sharpening, and thought Of try it. I think that halo is from that process.

Ja, that´s likely the source of the halo. highpass sharpening is a useful technique, I only use it partially on pictures, f.e. the eyes or just other points of interest. for blending mode I often use soft light or simply overlay, for it looks more natural to me. cheers, Daniela ;)
